To design an interactive digital poster using images generated by AI for an annual gala, hosted by the Breakfast Club, a fictional, professional networking group based in Graymont, Ontario (fictional). The purpose of the gala is to raise funds for Wings for Flight, a local bird sanctuary and rehabilitation facility for injured and orphaned birds.

This was my first experience doing design with consideration of interactivity and ensuring that the informational needs were met. I had to carefully balance aesthetic considerations with functional requirements, ensuring that interactive elements enhanced rather than distracted from the core message. The project taught me valuable lessons about creating hierarchy through both visual design and interactive elements.

This assignment was to reimagine Joe Fresh’s Instagram advertising by creating a concept that breaks from their typical formula while maintaining brand integrity. The goal was to develop a visually striking ad that incorporates photographic drawing elements that enhance either the background, the model, or both.

The project illustrates my capacity for growth and adaptation, as it represents my first experience with photo drawing technique.

This was my first experience creating a design using illustration and maintaining consistent messaging across both designs. The challenge of developing 2D characters that could effectively communicate our brand message pushed me to think deeply about visual storytelling elements. I discovered how subtle details in character expression, posture, and interaction significantly impact how audiences receive the intended message. Ensuring stylistic consistency between different illustrations while maintaining visual interest required careful planning and attention to detail.

To create an email banner for Rogers that will serve as the visual gateway for their customer outreach campaign. Your banner needs to capture attention immediately at the top of the email and set the appropriate tone for a message focused on reassurance, special offers, and customer appreciation.

 This design was specific to driving change and creating connection. The Rogers email banner project challenged me to think beyond aesthetic appeal and consider the impact of visual elements. I had to carefully select imagery, colours, and typography that would not only catch attention but also instantly convey trust and appreciation to former customers. Understanding that my design would serve as the critical first impression determining whether recipients would engage with the full message or simply scroll past added meaningful pressure to the creative process.

For the Urban Slide investor presentation, the task is to create slides in Canva with specific elements including trace images from illustrator.

Proficiency with Canva, presentation design, illustrator, research, analysis and visual representation of data and colour theory.

It showcases my ability to create visually compelling presentations and understanding of buyer personas and data visualization. It highlights creativity, technical expertise, and attention to branding and communicates my ability to execute projects that balance aesthetics with functionality.
