Outside of the box thinking, informed risk taking, a love for research and a passion for writing – all traits almost inbred it seems when I think of Francine – this five foot media powerhouse. We’ve known each other for years, me as her supervisor and then manager, as we navigated the television production landscape at the Jamaica Information Service. And
though the island is seen as the place of laid back, there was no rest. She embraced the demanding, multi-faceted nature of media work, catering to local and international clients, excelling in numerous roles and demonstrating a remarkable capacity for growth and adaptability. Clients within and without the organisation considered her highly versatile and extremely creative.
